02Waiting Period & Fees
Standard: A three-day waiting period applies after issuance before the license is effective.
Fee Reduction & Waiver:
The waiting period is waived and the license fee is reduced if both parties complete a premarital preparation course from a registered provider.03After the Ceremony
- •The license is valid for 60 days from the issue date.
- •The officiant must return the license to the Clerk's office within 10 days of the ceremony for recording.
